How to determine your head size:
If you’re interested in a New West Hat you will need to know your head circumference. Using a cloth tape measure, or a string, start about two fingers width above your eyebrows and go around the sides of your head about one finger width above the tips of your ears, and continue around the widest part of the back of your head. Allow your measurement to feel comfortable, not too tight, not too loose. Don’t be shy, measure a couple times to double check your results. It can also be useful to have a friend help you out.
If you are using a cloth tape measure look for the centimeter reading for the most accurate size. If you used a string, go ahead and measure the length of string with a ruler or hard tape measure to get the length.
